Dr Sanjay Purkayastha, a leading Senior Clinical Lecturer in Bariatric Surgery at Imperial College London recently acted upon a shortage of PPE at St Mary’s hospital by teaming up with Burberry to provide surgical gowns. Following some testing and review, the 2000+ gowns were certified for use and distributed across staff members at St Mary’s.
